In the meantime…Celebrate Clearview Culture Days at Leishman’s 100 year old Schoolhouse.
September 27th, 28th & 29th, 10am to 5pm daily
Friday Sept 27th & Sunday Sept 29th, Open House. Enjoy a walk through the old schoolhouse. View photos, stories and reminisce or reunite with past students and teachers.
Saturday Sept 28th, Open House and School Reunion. 12pm and on, enjoy the Nottawasaga ACCC showing of older vehicles. 1-3pm, enjoy refreshments, gourmet hot dogs and Celebration cake. Dignitaries speak on behalf of the Schoolhouse and community. Local celebrities Gren Bray and the Clearview Community Theatre Ukulele group perform. Along with a historical summation of the schoolhouse by Jim Harkness, artist and wood carver. Tell your story, local author Simon Heath will be conducting taped interviews of past students and teachers alike.
